Truth be told:
Loving your wife like Christ loves the church means her peace is your priority and her heart is your safe haven. It is a love that should not keep records of mistakes, but actively meets her imperfections with grace.
Never expect a soft, trusting heart if you are not willing to offer sacrificial unconditional love.
