The bitter truth so many Nigerians hate to hear!!!
An average Nigerian is enslaved in so many ways, and most especially and obviously "mentally"
One might be asking "how"?
The system has been tailored to engineer the way most of us think and to even dictate the directions of our everyday thoughts.
Here is the cake🫴...what would an average Nigerian who has by this month not been able to raise half of his house rent he thinking about the most?
What would average Nigerians who mostly don't have well paying jobs to even feed up to a minimum of 2x daily be thinking about?
What would a university Graduate who just finished service and is now searching up and down for a job opportunity that even pays as low as 30k yet has not seen be thinking the most about?
Some might be thinking that there is something they're not doing right...some might be thinking they're unlucky, some might even be brainwashed to think that it's someone from the village that is causing the misfortune...but every single thoughts is chained to your current economic situation..
"Na money everybody dey find" in a country like Nigeria?? Where everything is in abundance..?
Well the people that control the system are playing Thier cards really well, because they know that every man's lifestyle, health, social position, is tied to one thing.."your economic status" so they make sure that every average Nigerian is on an unending economic run..no rest at all, that is how they came up with "no pain, no gain" and we all bought it, meanwhile in a world where the gain is still determined by fellow humans why must they have you in pain first?
In essence all there is is that in Nigeria if the economic situation of an average Nigerian was at least meaningful...more sense would have emerged, meaningful discoveries, meaningful talents, meaningful conversations would have been the main order of the day...not the clown society we're living in today...so the system jails the economic standards of every average Nigerian so to keep em always thinking about nothing more but escape from poverty, how to get food to eat, how to get rich, how to climb the social ladder.
That is mental slavery..because the thoughts of a man should only be known to a man but by the time it is dictated then that man is no more a free man but slave to something even he might find hard to identify..that is why I called it "the bitter truth"🫴🤧
