My people,if you follow Arise news like I do, you will see today, and alleged thief who stood akimbo against his pursuers. He had a knife in one hand and a big stick in the other. Rufai coined the image as (a metaphor of what the country is), the knife representing the judicial and the stick, the social systems respectly. I wrote a piece, couple of weeks ago on this platform, about 2 thieves. One stole to feed his family, while the other stole to feed his desires. The alleged thief clearly is ill-fed, skinny limbs, flat stomach, and hungry looking, but determined. One man froze a mob with a stick and a knife. The imagery is, when a person (or people) get pushed the wall, they turn back and fight their assailant(s). If care is not taken, a lot of this kind of incident will occur repeatedly, everywhere, in this country.
Peace and love.
