BURKINA FASO IS BUILDING A HIGHWAY THAT WILL SHOCK THE WORLD🚨🚨🚨

The Ouagadougou-Bobo-Dioulasso highway is moving fast. The first layer of pavement has already reached 100 kilometres. Compaction is ongoing. And this is happening in the middle of the rainy season.

This is not a normal African road project. This is eight lanes. Four in each direction. 332 kilometres. Connecting Burkina's capital to its economic heart. No foreign loans. No Western contractors. Just Burkinabe engineers and state-owned equipment.

The head of state, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, said the project is unique in Africa. No other highway project on the continent mobilises this much equipment. More than 100 bulldozers were clearing the path. In 40 days, they cleared more than 70 per cent of the route.

The project includes 9 two-level interchanges, 28 overpasses, and one underpass.

When foreign companies bid for the project, the cheapest offer was 1,032 billion CFA francs. The shortest timeline was 10 years. Traoré said it would be foolish to condemn unborn generations to 50 or 60 years of debt for a highway that would be outdated in no time.

So the government decided to build it themselves. The cost is estimated at around 357 million dollars. Fully funded by the state.

The timeline? Traoré said they would finish in a time that no one would believe. Now they are laying pavement. 100 kilometres already. Rain or no rain.

This is not just a road. This is a statement. Burkina Faso is building its own future. No permission. No debt. No waiting.
