The problems and the current economic situation of Nigeria can be tied to so many sectors...and the primary sector for me is the Educational sector.
Because even in the university as a History and international relations student...why I'm I being forcefully taught the history of the United States, does the United states university have courses that study Nigerian history??
Infact, I just think that formal education at some point is useless, why not shift...why not try something else, or why not integrate and develop? I believe we've heard of practical education before I would love to explain further, but when you want to know "practical Education" and it's impacts, you should just take a good look at China.
Let me cite and instance...in Nigeria when we need a very proper construction for major projects, Chinese construction companies are must hired and they deliver so perfectly...they're not magicians, they're people not too different from us just that any civil and well performing engineer you see in China and some of the Asian majority countries were taught all they know right from when they were kids, but in Nigeria a child is being taught useless stuffs such as HCF and LCM, finding X, and many other useless things
I think we should consider proper practical education and before you know it they're so many things we won't be needing the white men for anymore, and mind you this message cuts beyond engineering It was just picked as a case study ❤️

In countries like China, from their basic school their teachings are practical. You see children already bring creative from small, however that’s not same here.
