Good Monday morning, everyone.

Let me talk to HRs for a minute.
Please, don’t call candidates for interviews if the hiring decision has already been made.

Many applicants spend their hard earned money on transportation, clothes, and other interview expenses, showing up with hope and believing they have a genuine chance.

If the position is already reserved for someone else, calling other candidates is more than a wasted interview. It costs them their time, money, energy, confidence and, sometimes, the little hope they have left.
Every candidate deserves a transparent and merit based recruitment process.

Behind every CV is a human being hoping for a better opportunity. Someone may have travelled far, borrowed transport fare, dressed in their best clothes and prayed before walking into that interview room.

HRs, please remember that candidate experience is not just about recruitment. It is about treating people with dignity.
If the decision has already been made, let people know. If they are being considered, give them a fair chance.

This Monday morning, let’s choose honesty, fairness and empathy in recruitment.

Ibukunoladunni: 👍🏽
Mummy G. O: God bless you abundantly for this.
They joke with people's feelings and opportunity.
I see it as abusing people's hope and chance for survival
Tochukwu Lemuel: Good morning chief.

Another latest one they normally do is to do recruitment that will require tasks on the second stage of the interview. What they are doing is to gather experienced candidates to offer solution to an existing problem maybe at the end without recruiting any at all.

Imagine giving...
Omotosho Kehinde Seun: Good morning. Thank you for saying this. You’re so right. The cost goes beyond transport fare. It’s hope, time, and energy. Every applicant deserves honesty and a fair shot. May HRs who read this choose empathy. I wish all job seekers grace this week.
Chi Ekpunobi: This is where Empathy comes in.
Why waste people’s time and money 🥺
Blessing Ojoma Onakpa: Cause it pays at the long run…Good Morning bro
Rejoice Osunwoke: I no be HR.
Anyway, I am sure them go hear you.
Chinelo Jemimah: Honestly speaking is so annoying
They sometimes put the opening out on the media as an advertisement so when you apply after the interview they won’t get back to you even when they knew you performed well
Gladden Ngozi: This is an important reminder. Behind every application is a real person with real hopes, sacrifices, and expectations.
Transparency and fairness should never be optional in the hiring process.
Thank you for this.
Happy Monday
CSO intl: Hr personal make them get pity for hiring job seekers
