Adamawa State truly stands as a beacon of peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence between Christians and Muslims. Nowhere is this spirit of brotherhood more profoundly displayed than in the beautiful land of Mubi Sabon Dale. Here, the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN No: 1 Mubi) shares a perimeter fence with a mosque—a single wall between two sacred houses of worship that perfectly defines the unique peace, blessings, and interfaith harmony embedded in our state.
This deep bond of togetherness was clearly on display today during the thanksgiving service of Dr. Yakubu Suleiman Bwade, the Provost of the Adamawa State College of Health Science and Technology, Michika. The joyous occasion, hosted at LCCN No: 1 Mubi, brought our community together in a remarkable way. Remarkably, about 20% of those present were our Muslim brothers, who offered their prayers at the neighboring mosque before joining the congregation to share in the celebration.
Such inspiring unity reflects the strong atmosphere of harmony we enjoy today. May God abundantly bless our Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for his visionary leadership, continuous drive for development, and unwavering commitment to preserving peace as the number one citizen of our beloved state.
