THE ILLUSION THAT DISTANCE STRIPS AWAY
Distance has a way of exposing what proximity conceals. When people are near, routine can masquerade as a relationship. Familiarity can be mistaken for intimacy. Our constant effort can be mistaken for mutual affection.
Then distance arrives not to create the truth, but to uncover it. The calls become fewer. The messages stop. The invitations never come. And suddenly you realize that what you thought was a shared relationship was, in many ways, sustained by your own persistence. Distance does not always separate people; sometimes it simply reveals who was already far away.
The most painful discoveries are rarely new realities. They are old realities that can no longer hide behind convenience and proximity.
There are illusions that only distance can strip away. And though the unveiling hurts, truth is kinder than a lifelong illusion

To understand what is going on must not necessarily going a long distance to realise it.
Taking a step back is as long a distance to realise that some illusions are not as they seem.
However it is better to see the truth...
