Lately, I've noticed it's becoming harder to step out and meet new people. Not because I don't want to, but because networking and socializing don't seem as natural as they used to be. The more I talk to people, the more I realize I'm not alone. Almost everyone has a reason for staying indoors.
Some say they've genuinely fallen in love with the peace of their own space. Others admit it's simply too expensive to go out these days. By the time you factor in transport, food, and everything else, a simple weekend hangout starts feeling like a luxury. So many people would rather save the money and stay home.
What's even more concerning is that for many of us, life has quietly become a cycle of work, sleep, repeat. The balance between work and living seems to be fading. We wake up to earn a living, but somehow forget to actually live. Is this just adulthood, or has the current economic reality forced us into survival mode? I'd really like to hear your thoughts. Have you also become more of an indoor person, or are you still intentional about making time for life outside work?
