While I am in my own little corner, trying to convince myself that people of different religions all worship the one true God—for indeed, that is how I see it, though our beliefs and modes of worship differ—some religious leaders continue to use the name of God to conceal the darkness in their hearts.

They bear the breath of God in their nostrils, yet cloak the Satan within them with the garment of holiness. Instead of preaching love, peace, and understanding, they sow hatred, division, and intolerance, all while claiming to speak for God.

One of the greatest challenges facing this country is the combination of hypocritical leaders and gullible followers who refuse to leave the table where they are continually fed poisonous ideologies without question.

Whatever your religious affiliation may be, whether you accept it or not, there is only one true God—the Creator of all things—to whom alone our worship is due. Throughout history, however, human beings have consistently sought ways to dominate others and advance selfish ambitions. To achieve this, they have often exploited the most powerful instruments available to them.

Religion, like politics and other social institutions, can become a potent tool for influence and control because human beings are deeply shaped by their spiritual and emotional convictions. In the hands of the unscrupulous, it becomes a weapon of manipulation.

Those who exploit religion for personal gain neither fear nor truly serve God. Rather, they desire that people fear and obey them. Their aim is not to draw others closer to God but to make followers instruments of their own ambitions. To accomplish this, they selectively quote and interpret sacred texts, twisting divine teachings to suit human agendas and shaping the minds of unsuspecting followers who accept every word without reflection or examination.

Faith should never demand the surrender of reason. True devotion is not blind obedience to a religious leader but a sincere commitment to truth, love, justice, humility, and peace. Any teaching that breeds hatred, violence, or contempt for fellow human beings deserves careful scrutiny, no matter who proclaims it or from which pulpit it is preached.

The greatest threat to any society is not religious diversity but the manipulation of religion by those Satans, who seek to accomplish their evil intentions,rather than service to God.
