💥 Bandits kill 4 soldiers, abduct 70 in Zamfara

Suspected bandits attacked Kasuwar-Daji community in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State, overrunning a military outpost, killing four soldiers and abducting approximately 70 residents.

The incident was reported by journalist Bakatsine, who covers conflict in Nigeria's North-West, in a post on X on Sunday. No official military or government statement had been issued at the time of reporting.

Zamfara State has been one of Nigeria's most affected regions in the ongoing banditry crisis that has plagued the North-West for several years, with armed groups repeatedly targeting communities and security personnel.
