Nigerian scholar Professor Ogechi Adeola has been ranked among the Top 10 Scientists in Rwanda and named the country’s leading researcher in Business and Management in the 2026 AD Scientific Index.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Enterprise) at the University of Kigali was recognized for her research contributions, scholarly impact, and continued commitment to advancing knowledge.

The recognition follows her inclusion among the Stanford–Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2025.

From mentoring the next generation of African scholars to advising international development organizations like the International Labour Organisation and Afreximbank, she continues to demonstrate what happens when passion, research, and visionary leadership align.
