2nd Thessalonians 3:14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
Constantly, believers are given responsibility towards one another. Hence, the brother will know it by my actions. We are to withdraw from a brother that lives in sin. The essence is that he may be ashamed. He is still our brother, but the conduct doesn't belong to the family. When believers sin, they are corrected by the word.
2nd Timothy 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
1st Timothy 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
To rebuke means to correct an act. Paul says it is sharp. When that goes on, it is the Holy Spirit working in the church. As believers, we must be our brother's keeper. If one part of the body suffers, everyone suffers.
When we condemn people's action in the church, we do not de- brother them. Sometimes, we study the word and receive correction in the word. That is when our conduct is put in the spotlight. We should be careful of accusation. Accusation deals with our relationship with God.

'Count him not as an enemy, but a brother'. We are to condemn the action, but leave the actor in the status of the son of God. When believers sin, sometimes, they are overtaken by their fault.
Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
The word, 'fault' there is the word 'trespass'. Overtaken means he cannot get out of the sinful habit or the action is not known by everybody. Not everyone is spiritual.
Not every Christian is spiritual or wise. So, Paul says the spiritual one should restore them. The restoration is not to God. You cannot restore people to God, you are not Jesus. The restoration is fellowship among believers. So, when believers sin, we are corrected.
CONFESSION:
When I sin, I am corrected, I am not condemned. I act on the word when I am corrected.
