One thing I've noticed...

We all want people to understand us.
But we hardly try to understand other people first.

We say, "Nobody understands me."
But when someone behaves differently from us, the first thing we do is judge them.

Maybe everyone is fighting a battle that only makes sense to them.
Maybe if we asked, "What happened to make this person think this way?"
instead of saying, "This person is just wicked,"
we'd understand each other a little better.

Sometimes, people don't need to be defended.
They just need to be understood.
