Nigeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says 65 of the 69 ambassador-designates appointed by President Bola Tinubu have received diplomatic approval from their host countries. Four nominees are still awaiting clearance, including Reno Omokri, who was nominated as Nigeria's ambassador to Mexico. The ministry said the approvals represent a 97% acceptance rate and that the remaining clearances are expected through normal diplomatic processes.
