The appointment of Yakubu Jang as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) in the Office of the President is a masterstroke of political inclusivity and a testament to the President’s “big heart.” This decision goes beyond mere political patronage; it is a strategic move that solidifies President Tinubu’s status as a unifying statesman.

As a firm supporter, I have never regretted backing this administration. Politics is indeed about give and take, and the people of Plateau State now have a duty to reciprocate this laudable gesture. The Mutfwang 2027 Movement is hereby reassured: we will go all out to vote for this administration again.

Vice President Shettima noted that the appointment reflects the President’s recognition of “capacity, loyalty and the need to accommodate diverse voices in governance” . By elevating the son of a prominent opposition figure (Senator Jonah Jang of the PDP), President Tinubu has sent a powerful message that his administration is open to all, regardless of past political affiliations .
