Nigerian-Born Engineer Develops Robotic System for Precision Bone Surgery

A Nigerian control engineer based in the United States has developed an intelligent robotic system that precisely bends and twists skeletal fixation plates to fit patients' jaws or bones, it has emerged.

Kenechukwu Nwajiaku, who led the research team behind the innovation, disclosed this in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Saturday.
