President Tinubu celebrates end of ASUU strikes, calls it answered prayer

President Bola Tinubu has praised his administration for ending disruptive strikes by university lecturers, calling it an answered prayer during a meeting with Catholic bishops on Tuesday.

Hosting the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) at the State House in Abuja, the president pointed to the absence of a prolonged ASUU strike since he took office as one of the clearest gains of his government, saying it has spared Nigerian families the disruption such strikes used to cause.
