DELAY IS NOT DENIAL

Acts 19:10 KJV
And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

Delay is something that seemingly exists between a person and the fulfillment of his expectations in life. The desire to achieve one's goals or see one's expectations fulfilled can place an individual under such pressure that time itself appears meaningless because of the urgency of the need. In reality, however, it takes patience to make delay appear non-existent. Until you possess the virtue of patience, you will always be troubled by delay and the pressures that accompany it.
The passage says that Paul preached in Asia and there were several miracles wrought through him to the extent that his aprons and handkerchief were producing mighty miracles.
Acts 19:11-12 KJV
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: [12] So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. Meanwhile, this is the same Asia that the Holy Spirit earlier stopped Paul from going. He was diverted to Macedonia instead because someone was making a higher demand and standing in the gap for the city.
Acts 16:6 KJV
Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, Even though the missionary journey to Asia was delayed by the Holy Spirit at some point, the restoration and miracles that they needed was not denied. This is to let you know that delay can never lead to denial.
The time might not be ripe or right but when God decides to do it, the beauty will still be original. Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
What is it that is looking like God is wasting time or delaying? Do not fret but trust God that when He comes up for you, the testimony will be fresh to the point that you will not notice anything called delay. The time and timing of God is always beautiful. The maker of time will never miss the right time for you. In fact, when it comes, it will be with compensation so you dont have any losses or misses. If you dont believe me, ask Hannah, immediately she gave birth to Samuel, everything about the house of Elianas shifted to Samuel. In fact you will not hear of the name of any child of Elkanah in the Bible except Samuel. She looked to have been delayed but she eventually dominated the biography of that family. If you can understand that your seeming delay is not denial, it will aid your faith to be strong.

Daily Task
Mention five ways to handle seeming delay.

Prayers
1. Father, I receive grace to be patient in my walk with You.
2. I receive wisdom to endure in life.
