There is an Islamic injunction in the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

“Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable, then with his tongue. If he is unable, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith.” (Sahih Muslim)

To me, this is a divine instruction never to become comfortable with evil.

If you can lawfully and peacefully change it, do so. If you cannot, speak against it without fear. And if even that becomes impossible, never allow your heart to make peace with it.

Nigeria today is a crime scene. The greatest evil is the evil leaders inflict on their own people. Millions are hungry, millions live in poverty, insecurity has become routine, and those who “snatched and grabbed” power carry on with little regard for the suffering of ordinary Nigerians.

We owe ourselves and future generations a duty to peacefully remove the Bola Tinubu regime through the ballot in 2027. Until then, we must never stop exposing their incompetence, condemning their corruption, challenging their injustices, and offering a better alternative.

Speak up from your little corner. Refuse to normalize failure. Refuse to celebrate oppression. Refuse to be silent while your country is being diminished.

History has never been changed by those who accepted injustice as normal.

Nigeria will be OK

A New Nigeria is POssible.
