Chelsea Fined £10m Over £47m in Undisclosed Agent Payments
Chelsea have been fined £10 million and handed a suspended transfer ban after admitting to breaching the FA's agent regulations during Roman Abramovich's ownership era.
The FA confirmed Chelsea made £47 million in undisclosed payments to unregistered agents and third parties in connection with player transfers completed between 2011 and 2018.
The club avoided an immediate sporting sanction — a suspended six-point deduction was set aside following an appeal — but the transfer ban remains suspended, meaning it could be activated if further breaches occur.
