US Mission Nigeria honours Nigerian-American doctor for kidney care innovation

Nigerian-American physician Dr Ikenna Okezie has been recognised by the US Mission in Nigeria for his work expanding access to kidney care across the United States.

In a statement, the Mission praised Okezie as CEO and co-founder of Somatus, a healthcare company that provides in-home dialysis support and other services for people living with chronic kidney disease. It credited his leadership with helping reshape care delivery and improve outcomes for patients nationwide.
