“Around 1pm in the afternoon, bulldozers just came. They told the workers to come down and bulldozed the whole place. Nobody gave me notice.

I borrowed money from the UK, £75,000, to come and invest in Nigeria. You people say we should come back from the diaspora to invest in Nigeria.

I've never done one government contract. I don't know anybody in government. I came with my money from the UK to invest here.

So I have to deal with that now. Eighty-four staff. That's what I was feeding here. I built this place exactly one year and three months ago. That's when I built this place.

It's p@inful. I stood there and watched it go. Nobody cares. And you're telling me now to convince anybody coming from the diaspora to invest in this country?

Look at 84 people. What are they going to do? I have a choice. I will go back, count my losses, and find a way of sorting out the money.

As I'm talking right now, I'm actually thinking of packing my things, tearing my Nigerian passport, and go back. I have friends who have d£str0yed their passports because of things like this.

In this place alone, I'm not exaggerating, about 300 people have been rendered jobless. And you people say you're creating jobs? Is this how you create jobs...?”
