A SIMPLE PRAYER TO CLOSE THE DAY
( Say before closing work or going to bed)

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for carrying me through this day.
For the breath in my lungs, the work my hands did, and the love I got to give and receive, I’m grateful.

Please forgive me for where I fell short today.
Wash my heart of worry, regret, and anything weighing me down.
Cover my home, my family, and everyone I love under Your peace tonight.

As I lay down, let Your presence be the last thing I feel and the first thing I remember tomorrow.
Guard my sleep, restore my body, and renew my mind.
Dreams that bring hope, rest that brings healing.

Tomorrow is in Your hands. Help me wake up with strength, joy, and a heart ready to serve.
I trust You with the night, and I trust You with the morning.

In the Mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen and Amen!
