Nigeria Rolls Out Nationwide Programme to Boost Access to Affordable Cooking Gas

Nigeria has launched a new initiative aimed at expanding access to affordable Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across the country, starting with an activation event held Tuesday, July 28, in Bayelsa State.

The National Grassroots LPG Penetration Programme, launched under the federal government's Decade of Gas initiative, seeks to help Nigerian households move away from traditional cooking fuels like firewood and charcoal toward cleaner and more efficient LPG use.
