The Nigerian Auctioneers Association (NAA) has endorsed the EFCC’s digitised E-Auction platform, describing it as a transparent, accountable and efficient system for disposing of forfeited assets. NAA President Alhaji Musa Kurra also dismissed recent claims made by an individual purporting to speak for the association, insisting he remains the duly elected president following the 2023 National Delegates Conference. Kurra said the association has worked closely with the EFCC to improve the auction process, noting that recommendations made after initial operational challenges have been implemented. He urged the public to verify auction information through official channels and engage only licensed auctioneers, reaffirming the NAA’s commitment to professionalism, integrity and collaboration in safeguarding public asset disposal.
