Good morning LL fam!
A lot of people want to help when someone is struggling with depression. The problem is that good intentions don't always land the way we hope.
Some of the things in this thread are said all the time, but they can leave someone feeling even more alone or misunderstood.
You don't have to have the perfect words. Just being willing to listen, believe someone when they tell you they're struggling, and sit with them without trying to fix everything can mean a lot.
What else would you add to the list?
