Jorrel Hato is already back with Chelsea for pre-season after seeing limited action at the Club World Cup. He's getting to work early and looking to make an impression on new manager Xabi Alonso.
Valentín Barco, on the other hand, is still on his scheduled holiday despite also playing very few minutes. With a new manager in charge, every training session could be an opportunity to prove yourself.
Some fans believe Barco should cut his break short and fight for his place. Others argue that players deserve their full rest before a demanding season.

Felix: Both approaches are valid, but if you’re fighting for a place under a new manager, every extra training session is a chance to make a lasting impression.
Zino: There is something the manager saw in Barco that made him sanction the said move.Alonso knows how he intends to use him because he has seen him excel there. So I don't think he is worried about fighting or proving himself. His purchase is proof enough.He just needs to come and do what he knows how...
