The All Progressives Congress has cautioned political appointees in the President Bola Tinubu-led government against adopting a neutral stance while occupying public office.

In a statement, the party said it will no longer tolerate officials who claim to be technocrats detached from partisan duties.

The APC maintained that holding a government position comes with the responsibility of advancing the party’s ideals, mobilizing grassroots support and ensuring the success of the administration’s agenda.

It added that any appointee unwilling to perform these political responsibilities should consider vacating their position for those who are ready to serve both the government and the party.
