#whatstrendingwithojyokpe The murder of worshippers inside a mosque is a national tragedy, not just a Sokoto tragedy. The Nigerian government has a constitutional duty to protect lives and property. Citizens should judge security policy by results: fewer attacks, safer communities, faster emergency responses, arrests and successful prosecutions of perpetrators, and the ability of people to live normal lives without fear. The true test of government is simple: when Nigerians can pray, travel, farm, and sleep safely in every part of the country, then progress against terrorism is real. Until then, every attack is a reminder that more must be done.
