Defending champions Nigeria's Flying Eagles booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2026 WAFU B U-20 Championship with a powerful 3-0 victory over Togo ⚽🔥.

The Flying Eagles have now picked up 6 points in 2 matches in the WAFU B U20 Cup group stage.

Nigeria made the perfect start to the second half when striker Muiz Adeleke opened the scoring just one minute after the restart.

The forward continued his fine goalscoring form by putting the Flying Eagles ahead in the 46th minute, handing the defending champions a deserved breakthrough.

Adeleke doubled Nigeria's advantage in the 58th minute with a moment of individual brilliance.

The striker calmly dribbled past the Togolese goalkeeper before rolling the ball into an empty net to complete his brace, taking his tally in the competition to four goals after also scoring twice against Ghana in the opening group match.

The Flying Eagles sealed the victory six minutes from time through Abdoulaye Agbeloye, who reacted quickest after the Togo defense failed to clear a loose ball. He kept his composure to slot home with his left foot and make it 3-0.

Thanks to his impressive brace and performance, Muiz Adeleke was the chosen "Man of the Match".
