Astronauts Dave Scott and Jim Irwin landed the Apollo 15 lunar module "Falcon" at the Hadley-Apennine site on the Moon 55 years ago today!

The fourth crewed lunar mission had ambitious scientific goals and set numerous human spaceflight records.
