Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), attended the official public destruction of illicitly acquired, decommissioned and unserviceable small arms and light weapons. He represented the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, at the event.The programme was organised by the National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons, headed by its Director-General, Johnson Babatunde Kokumo. The event took place on 30th July 2026 at the Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment, Giri, Abuja.
