Seplat Energy Plc has signed an Agreement with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited) for the transfer of a 10% working interest in the NNPC Limited–Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited (SEPNU) Joint Venture, in a transaction valued at approximately US$281.6m.

The agreed consideration represents approximately 25% of the gross acquisition price, including any contingent consideration, paid by Seplat Energy Offshore Limited (SEOL) for the acquisition of SEPNU.
