“You think after 9 years, I’ll give you passwords and access to my catalogue?” — Singer, Runtown slams Dilly Umenyiora over ‘fake court order.’
Nigerian singer Runtown has reacted after a court order reportedly reaffirmed his recording agreement with Eric Many Records, owned by businessman Dilly Umenyiora.
In a post shared online, Runtown questioned why he would hand over access to his music catalogue after years of being in a legal dispute with the record label.
“You think after 9 years, I’ll give you passwords and access to my catalogue?” he wrote, apparently dismissing claims surrounding the court order as fake.
The latest development comes after a Federal Capital Territory High Court reportedly ruled that Runtown’s 2016 recording agreement with Eric Many remains valid and binding.
