1. *2026 Budget under scrutiny*
Findings show 78 MDAs allocated nearly *N400bn* for mosques, traditional rulers’ palaces, community halls and market squares in the 2026 budget.
Examples: village halls in Anambra, Emir’s palace in Yobe, refurbishment of Obas’ palaces in Ogun, mosques in Kebbi/Ekiti. Analysts say funds could be better spent on healthcare, education, security and power.

2. *Osun 2026 Election tensions*
APC and Accord clashed at INEC stakeholders’ forum in Osogbo. APC accused Accord of sponsoring hoodlums, while Accord members booed the Osun CP. INEC Chairman says Osun poll will be a "mirror" for 2027.
