Nigeria must implement fiscal spending reforms and debt management reforms. We also need to diversify our debt portfolio. Today, we import so much from China. It is curious that we are not considering the issuance of panda bonds. Financing imports with panda bonds would relieve pressure on the dollar. To address our spending issues, we must tie borrowings to projects and reduce dependence on FGM bonds that are somewhat discretionary
