I once had a cow die unexpectedly on the farm. Since I didn't know what caused its death, I instructed my staff to cut a small sample of the meat for laboratory testing and bury the rest immediately. I stayed there to make sure it was buried.
Later that day, after I got home, I checked the CCTV footage. To my surprise, they dug the cow back up, butchered it, cooked it, and shared the meat among themselves. I wasn't even shocked.
The next time I visited the farm, I decided to teach them a lesson.
I said, "Thank God none of us ate that cow. The laboratory report came back, and it tested positive for HIV."
The atmosphere changed instantly. Some froze. Others looked terrified. A few were already in tears.
I kept asking, "What's wrong?" until one of them finally confessed:
"Please, sir... don't let us die. We all ate the cow."
That was when I told them the truth and reminded them that instructions on a farm are given for a reason. Ignoring them can put lives at risk.
Moral: On a farm, obedience isn't about control—it's about safety. Always follow instructions, especially when they involve animal health.
