Enugu State Governor Approves Recruitment of 6,580 Staff to Run Smart Green Schools

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has approved the recruitment of 6,580 qualified candidates for academic, technical, and administrative roles across public primary and junior secondary schools, with most positions earmarked for the state's 267 Smart Green Schools, many of which are still under construction.

The vacancy announcement was issued by Hyginus Banko, Executive Chairman of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), who said the recruitment covers 4,698 core subject teachers in fields such as Mathematics, English Language, Basic Science, Basic Technology, ICT, French, Igbo Language, and History.
