The call to boycott Tyla’s show in Lagos (in retaliation for her perceived silence on the xenophobic violence against Nigerians in South Africa) doesn’t reflect the true Nigerian spirit. I recall many years ago when Nigerian fans were attacked after a Super Eagles match in Addis Ababa, they chose not to retaliate during the return leg in Lagos. Instead, they responded with dignity. That’s the Nigeria I know. Revenge is rarely the better choice. #arisenews
