The application for the Commonwealth Professional Fellowship 2026/2027 is now open!

We are pleased to announce that Lifegate Outreach Centre is privileged to be one of the host organisations for the 2027 CSC fellowship. The Fellowship is open to mid-career and emerging professionals working in the fields of environment, education, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); science and technology; community development; public health; and public sector institutions.

Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to community development, social impact, and sustainable development within their respective countries. Preference will be given to individuals who are actively engaged in implementing programmes, influencing policy, building institutional capacity, or leading initiatives that align with the CSC development themes and have the potential to create a measurable impact upon their return home.

We plan to host a three-month training programme for prospective fellows, featuring professional training, field visits, and engagement with community-based organisations in Walsall, West Midlands, and London. Activities for fellows will be centred on sustainable health initiatives, such as those promoted by Health Watch Walsall, Walsall Council Community Public Health Programmes, and others.
