๐จ Nigerians can't take another hike. Full stop.
The Federal Government paused the WAEC/NECO fee increase. Good. But "paused" isn't good enough we're demanding it be scrapped. Indefinitely.
Here's why:
Right now, families are choosing between food and fees. Between transport and textbooks. Between light bills and school bills. ๐ก๐๐
Fuel subsidy removal already gutted household budgets. Food prices are through the roof. Transport fares keep climbing. Electricity tariffs won't stop rising. And now on top of all that you want parents to pay MORE just to let their children sit an exam?
This isn't reform. It's a tax on hope.
Education is supposed to be the way OUT of poverty not another price tag families can't afford. Every child deserves a shot at WAEC and NECO, not just the ones whose parents can absorb yet another "adjustment."
The government listened once. Good start. Now finish the job.
Suspend it. Permanently. Nigerian families have given enough.
๐ Tag someone who needs to see this. Share if you agree: our children's future shouldn't come with a surcharge.
