Reports of him displaying or promoting a “Tinubu Must Go” bag are part of that wider opposition campaign. The slogan reflects a political demand for Tinubu to leave office, but it is a political expression, not itself proof that the government has failed or succeeded. Those judgments require evidence.

Sowore has the right to criticise the government and mobilise opposition within the law. A democracy needs voices that challenge those in power.

But Nigerians should demand more than slogans from all politicians. “Tinubu Must Go” expresses anger, but the next question must be: “Who should replace him, and with what practical plan to make life better?”

The real victory for Nigerians is not simply changing one politician for another, it is building a system where leaders are judged by results, accountability, and competence rather than just promises and protests.
