@Ojyokpe The Delta APC has since denied that the meeting was violent, disputing those reports. At this stage, without an independent police investigation or other conclusive evidence, it is not possible to state definitively which version is correct. The denial itself is not proof that no violence occurred, just as initial reports are not proof that it did. Claims from all sides should be tested against evidence.
The real test is not whether the APC says there was no violence or whether critics say there was. The test is whether an independent investigation establishes the facts. Political parties should not be the final arbiters of incidents involving their own events. Nigerians should demand transparency, accountability, and evidence before reaching conclusions.
