2026/2027 premier League update:
New Premier League rules you will see this season.
- Injured players must stay off the pitch for 60secs before returning.
- Wrestling in the box is not allowed.
- If a GK stops play for treatment, an outfield teammate must also leave the pitch temporarily.
- Throw-ins & goal kicks now have a 5-second countdown.
- Time-wasting results in possession being awarded to the opposition.
- VAR can intervene to stop an incorrect 2nd yellow card for being shown.
- VAR cannot directly award a 2nd yellow card.
