I saw this yet to be a premiered movie coming soon THE CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE...

When I checked the trailer, i discovered it was a movie that told the African story... But the majority of the characters are not Nigerian...

Although it was a story written by a Nigerian American yomi adeyemi who grew up in Chicago and spent all her life in Chicago...

When i did a background check on her i discovered she studied at Harvard obtained a degree in English and literature and traveled to Brazil to get one kini kini something like that...

The fact is how can someone who has lost touch with her root tell the Nigeria story and how can you tell a Nigerian story with foreign characters... That's kind of absurd...

I have studied Nigerian literature books published outside the country... There is just one clause you will notice... Retrogression of African culture thereby Making the western culture and ideology more superior than the African culture which is a way many of them try to buy acceptance into the western elite system,

That is why the likes of ngugi wa thiong'o are not honored till date by the western world because he failed to succumb to the relegation of Africa culture in all his writing...

Why am i saying this, although i have not seen the movie but a movie written by someone who has lost tough with her roots cannot present a Nigerian story well... It will have a superior western ideology dominating the story...

We all see what happened in the movie WOMAN KING....

Or am not speaking your mind?
