Offline doesn't mean old!

Who else has come to that realization that?

It's interesting how often we confuse "cloud" with "modern."

Modern software isn't defined by where it stores data.

It's defined by whether it solves real problems.

While building TaxMateNG, we've deliberately treated offline as a design choice - not a limitation.

Reliability.
Ownership.
Privacy.
Speed.

Those are still modern ideas.

Perhaps "offline-first" isn't moving backwards.

Perhaps it's simply starting from a different set of priorities.
