CHILDREN OF TIME (reffer to previous post to understand the journey)
EPISODE V: WHEN SURVIVAL FORGOT THE MEANING OF LIFE
After pride was humbled and knowledge was forced to listen to silence, the story takes us into a deeper question:
What is the purpose of survival if survival costs us our humanity? Every living thing has an instinct to survive. But survival is not always the same as living. A creature can exist for centuries and still fail to understand why it exists. This is one of the great contradictions of intelligent beings: we become so focused on preserving ourselves that we sometimes forget the very values that made preservation meaningful.
Human history is filled with examples of this struggle.
Kingdoms have fallen not because they lacked power but because they became obsessed with protecting power. Civilisations have collapsed not because they lacked knowledge but because knowledge was separated from wisdom. Individuals have destroyed relationships not because they lacked the ability to love but because survival instincts became stronger than compassion.
The question is not merely, "Can we survive?"
The deeper question is: What kind of beings are we becoming while we survive? Because survival without purpose can become another form of extinction. A species can continue breathing while losing the soul that gave meaning to its existence. Maybe the greatest evolution is not becoming stronger, maybe it is becoming wiser because strength asks, "How do I overcome?" Wisdom asks, "What is worth preserving?"
and sometimes, the greatest victory is not defeating others. It is refusing to lose ourselves.
