Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Officer to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and hands-on experience supporting hardware, software, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Set up user accounts, email accounts, and system access permissions.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and support activities.
• Assist with IT asset management and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
• Provide user training and guidance on IT systems and applications.

Requirements

• HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT support or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory, LAN/WAN, and cybersecurity practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
• Applicant must be 29 years old or below.
