Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the Save Nigeria Group USA/U.S.-Nigeria Civil Society Coalition have condemned the killing of at least 30 people in Naridon (Kizakoro) community, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack, which reportedly occurred overnight, claimed the lives of men, women and children, with homes and businesses also set ablaze. The coalition called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of those responsible, stronger protection for vulnerable communities and increased international attention to the recurring violence in Southern Kaduna. Atiku described the massacre as a grave failure of government to protect lives, urging a comprehensive overhaul of Nigeria's security architecture and intelligence-driven operations to prevent further attacks.
